Alpaca Farm Tour

This past weekend, Ingrid Knox and I packed up our handwovens and knits and set up a sales table at  the A Star Alpaca Ranch.  The ranch was one of many on the tour circuit and the day was hot, so we weren't sure of how many would arrive to see the ranch.  We were lucky and sold some items on the first day, but the second day was really slow with not much traffic at all.  However, Ingrid and I both finished knitting  the caps we were working on and friends dropped by to chat, so it was pleasant.

Our next sale will be Winterfaire at the Nevada County Fair Grounds in October where we will be sharing a booth.  This will be a bigger shingding, so all the stops will be pulled out - towels, scarves, shawls, knitted hats and more.  Visit us there!

  2. What a nice way to use the last summer weekend. It poured for about eight hours today - so weird.
